About my journaling

As of April 2018, I have begun a new site at https://vondadrees.com/.

A bow of thanks for following your curiosity here, this space where I share images from my journaling.

Journaling has become a way to process the Spirit’s stirring in my life.  When something catches my attention, I try to engage in a conversation with it, to listen, ponder and respond creatively.

2015 and 2016 were years of daily posting pages from my journals in the hope of falling into an organization by topic.  2017 began with a similar rhythm, and has turned toward posting when the invitation to share seems somehow clearer.

All along I’ve told myself that as I stay faithful to this journaling practice that nourishes my soul, the way will appear… and it’s happening.  In addition to the images being created, there is a hunger to share the process as well.  Step by step, invitation by invitation, we’re figuring it out together through small online groups, retreats, workshops and events.

Blessings on your creative journey,

Vonda

  1. Vonda,
Any chance your lovely creations are made into notepads or greeting cards? Your work is spirit touched and heartfelt.

    1. Dear Mary… thank you, truly, for your question and kind comment. Becoming available soon will be the John O’Donohue question images in the form of conversation cards. They’re in production right now. This blog has been a way for me to dip my toes into the water of organizing and sharing images from my journaling. Maybe there will come a time for merchandising? I’m not sure. I’m just grateful that they are meaningful to others, and certainly give you permission to print images for your personal use.

    1. Oh wow! Jody, thank you! It may be a little while before I’m able to pass this along. My plate is pretty full right now, and truthfully, I’m such a newbie in this blogging world, I move around in it like a turtle! I’ll hang on to it for a little while, if that’s okay, in hopes of being able to pass it along well. 🙂
