God’s tenderness

I learned yesterday that “to wipe away” in Spanish is “enjugar.”  This fascinates me because “to play” is “jugar” … so, in reading the Revelation 21:1,4 passages, I get this sense of God’s tenderness like a parent, wiping away our tears and instilling in us a spirit of play.

Revelation 21:1,4 — Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth… and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.  Death will be no more.
